Because it was so much fun a last year…
January: Spending New Years in the Golan, hiking Masada, and staying in this most amazing of places in the Negev desert (home of the HBDP) — all during Jenelle’s visit.
My trip to Germany culminated with a few days in Berlin. Here we met up with Aaron, drank lots of beer and wine, and visited museums and other historical sites — all the while the gents ate tons of bratwurst.
Yesterday’s post has me thinking about other cool places I’ve recently stayed. Chief among them: the flats we rented while in Germany! Lately, Jon and I have gotten into the habit of renting flats instead of staying in hotels while traveling because it means we’ll have a kitchen to cook in when safe gluten free food cannot otherwise be found.
Our first stop in Germany was the city quiet city of Quedlinburg, whose entire old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
