Berlin

My trip to Germany culminated with a few days in Berlin. Here we met up with Aaron, drank lots of beer and wine, and visited museums and other historical sites — all the while the gents ate tons of bratwurst.

German Hospitality

Yesterday’s post has me thinking about other cool places I’ve recently stayed. Chief among them: the flats we rented while in Germany! Lately, Jon and I have gotten into the habit of renting flats instead of staying in hotels while traveling because it means we’ll have a kitchen to cook in when safe gluten free food cannot otherwise be found.

Our first stop in Germany was the city quiet city of Quedlinburg, whose entire old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
