January 2015: Visiting New York for a birthday weekend for my boo, filled with surprises – including his parents arriving for brunch, Aladdin on Broadway, and dinner out with a champagne toast from my parents (via technology).
In which the Mirror of Erised is correct and I celebrate my birthday by going on The Making of Harry Potter tour at Warner Brothers in Leavesdon.
According to Dumbledore, the Mirror of Erised shows you your heart’s deepest and most desperate desire; while I was hugely excited to go on this tour with Jon for my birthday, I’m not sure it qualified as the deepest, most desperate desire of my heart.
For my birthday this year, Jon and I are headed back to London! I’ve already booked us tickets for the Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter. For this reason, Jon and I are re-watching all the Harry Potter movies. We’re onto number four, Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, already.
Over the summer I saw this van on the drive back into Ramallah — proof that everyone loves Harry Potter.
